Hooks: TMC5263 or DAI1720, sizes 8–10.

Thread: Olive.

Tail: Three peacock sword feather tips.

Ribbing: Fine oval gold tinsel.

Body: Dubbed with olive rabbit fur.

Hackle: Dyed olive hen hackle tied on as a collar and tied back.

Charlie Brooks of Penn Valley, California, originated this pattern. Charlie often varied the shade of olive he used for this fly.

Hooks: MUSC53S, TMC200R, or DAI1270, sizes 8–10.

Thread: Olive.

Tail: Tuft of light golden olive marabou.

Ribbing: Heavy olive thread.

Body: Dubbed with golden olive rabbit fur.

Legs: Dyed olive barred teal barbs tied beard-style.

Wingcase: Olive marabou tied in at the head and extending over the thorax.
